SIKKIM TOURISM (GANGTOK)

2). SIKKIM TOURING (Yuksom)

It was the first capital of Sikkim. It is said that the first superior ruler of Sikkim had purified Yuksom in 1641 with three learned lamas. The remains of this ceremony are still present in the Norbuganga court. The history of Sikkim starts from here, so this place is considered a holy place. The Yuksom Famous is also the base camp for climbing Mount Kanchenjunga.

3). TOURING PLACES (Tsomgo Lake)

4). सिक्किम टूरिज़म (Nathula Pass)

At an altitude of 14,200 feet, the Nathula Pass is located on the India-China border. It connects Sikkim to the Tibet Autonomous Region of China. This journey is a blissful experience in itself. The mist covered hills, the crooked ways and the waterfalls falling from the mountains is amazing. Tourists must have a permit to visit this place.

5). Do-Drul Chorten

It was built in 1945 by the head of the Tibetan Buddhist Kenningma Order. It is one of the most beautiful stupas in Sikkim. There are 108 prayer wheels here. It has several Mandala sets, a set of relics and some religious materials as well. There are also statues of Buddhist gurus here.

9). Jawaharlal Nehru Botanical Garden

Jawaharlal Nehru Botanical Garden, built in 1987, is located near Rumtek Math. This place is looked after by the Forest Department of the Government of Sikkim. The specialty of the garden is oak, different types of trees and forest of orchids.
