HISTORY OF JHARKHAND
The history of the state of Jharkhand is believed to be about 5000 years old from today as some pictures have been found in the caves of Hazaribagh district of Jharkhand which confirm this. The land of Jharkhand has been ruled by many royal dynasties. Chero dynasty, Nagavanshi dynasty, Mughal dynasty, etc. ruled in Jharkhand. The British East India Company waved their flag here during the Chero dynasty. Historians believe that the state of Jharkhand used to have its geopolitical and cultural identity even before the rule of Magadha. It is believed that the language spoken by the tribals of Jharkhand resembles the Harappan culture. The state of Jharkhand was formed in the year 2000 by cutting southern Bihar.
